Chymorvah
is situated at the eastern end of Marazion, on the seaward side
of the Penzance to Helston Road. It was built by Richard Rooke
Michell, a wealthy mine owner in the mid 1800s, who needed Chymorvah
to house his increasing family.
The
house is solidly built of granite and stands proudly above Mounts
Bay enjoying splendid views from The Lizard to Penzance and
across to Mousehole. Our one acre garden has private access
to a secluded beach with a typical Cornish mixture of sand and
rocks, providing hours of interest - building sandcastles, exploring
rock pools or sunbathing.
Here at Chymorvah you will be met by a friendly welcome. As
well as comfortable beds, you will find a warm hospitality and
much happiness, mingled with good service.
Children
are very welcome and arrangements for pets are considered -
well behaved dogs welcome and cattery available in garden- please
ask.
